What is Caddybay?
Caddybay is either a single or double website package designed exclusively for PGA Professionals. -
What package is best for me?
We have 2 website packages - a 'Pro Package' and a 'Commerce Package'. The Pro Package is £25 (+ VAT) per month and consists of the MyGolfCentre website designed to advertise your coaching and golf club services.
The 'Commerce Package' is £49 (+ VAT) per month and consists of both the MyGolfCentre website PLUS the Caddybay ecommerce website, designed to allow you to sell thousands of Golf Products. -
What will be my contract terms?
There is NO minimum term contract for the Caddybay website package. After your initial trial period, if you would like to continue with the package then simply return the standing order form to us. If you desire to stop using the package at any time, then simply inform us in writing and we will withdraw the website for you at the end of your current billing period.

Do all the MyGolfCentre websites look the same - how will I stand out?
No, you have a huge degree of customisation on the MyGolfCentre website and can change the colour of the website from a wide range of colours - and if you have a business or club logo, then we can add that to the site for you. -
How will people find my website?
Our technical team have designed the MyGolfCentre and Caddybay websites to be very 'search-engine friendly', meaning that following a normal listing period with Google (which can be in the region of 6-8 weeks), your website will begin to find its way to the top end of Google and other engines. Whilst no specific placing can be guaranteed, rest assured we constantly monitor and advise the best actions you can take to help this process. -
How about the web pages - am I restricted to a certain number?
Not at all, we have designed the MyGolfCentre website to be highly customisable very easily by you - allowing you the chance to make the site YOU want. You can add and remove as many pages as you like at any time from your admin panel. -
Admin Panel? Is this complicated to use?
Our aim when designing the Caddybay package was to enable users of ANY IT skill to be able to control their websites with ease. The admin panel is easy to use and you will be making changes in no time. -
But if I get stuck, can I get help?
As easy as our admin panel is, we appreciate that you may need a helping hand every now and again! We have written a series of easy to follow manuals for using your admin panel and we offer FREE technical support via Email, a Ticketing System and a 'Lo-Call' phone number. Our staff are friendly, patient and ready to help you with any problem. -
As a teaching Pro, what benefits does owning a MyGolfCentre website have?
Most important to a Pro who offers Golf Lessons, is the ability to offer online bookings - and also to receive payments for booked lessons 24 hours a day. You can provide lessons on your calendar for ANY day of the year and choose which times you are available and also at which venue you will be teaching at if you are not based at one location. -
As a Club Shop owner, what benefits does owning a Caddybay website have?
Caddybay allows you to list unlimited numbers of top brand products from your club shop range. Its easy to use for both you and your customers and you have full control over all aspects of your shop. -
How would you best advise me to advertise my websites?
To help you market your new websites, we provide customised marketing material for you - Free of charge! The marketing material consists of posters and business cards which you can download from your admin panel and print off to advertise your websites around your golf club. -
How would I add products to my Caddybay website?
We appreciate that PGA Professionals have limited time, so we have taken the hard work out of adding products for you. Our dedicated team add all the products for our Members from all top brands - including multiple images, descriptions and prices. All you have to do, is select which products you wish to list on your site in your admin panel and they are automatically shown on your Caddybay website. -
I can sell my items for less than the RRP - is that a problem?
Not a problem - when you select the products you wish to add, you can enter your own price for the item and also whether it is a sale item or a featured item - which is then reflected on your shop website. -
I am not VAT registered - is this an issue?
You have full control on whether your prices reflect a VAT amount or not. Invoices are generated by the Caddybay System to your customers automatically and show the VAT amount if you have selected you are VAT registered, or not if you select you are not VAT registered. If you reach the VAT threshold and register to pay VAT, you can easily change this in your admin panel. -
I have no way of processing Credit Card payments - how will my customers pay me?
We have included options that you can select in your admin panel, that give your customers and option of how to pay you. These include, PayPal, Credit Card, Cheque and Cash-on-Collection. You can use any combination of these methods and update whenever necessary from your admin panel. -
I do not have a PayPal account - can I set one up?
It is very easy to set up a PayPal account and PayPal are used by millions of people worldwide so it offers a great choice for your customers. Customers who pay you via PayPal do not need to have a PayPal account, they can simply use their credit or debit cards and PayPal will still process that as a payment for you.
